I’m excited to run more half marathons. My next half marathon will be in Newburyport this November and my the other half marathon will be in Disney world Orlando Florida in January 2026. I want to meet new people at the race. Come join me and say hi!
RUNNING

I started running when I was 14 years old. A former teacher, Ms. Rowe, told me that I had a gift for it. She encouraged me to join a track team. I started running for Special Olympics and became more confident on a team. Then I joined the Middle School team and it was the beginning of meeting lots of friends. I continued running cross country and track at Marblehead High School. I loved the team dinners before each event. My high school coach, Mr. Heenan, treated me wonderfully and accepted me. I connected with my teammates and had special names for everyone.
I continue to run and take great pride in it. I’ve run 19 half-marathons and many other races. I run weekly with Boston Achilles, in addition to my own runs. Running has become my way of channeling energy, staying grounded and connecting with others who have a common interest. When I run it's not just about miles. I am setting personal goals to accomplish and pushing myself to improve. Every finish line brings a sense of achievement. Running isn't just something I do, it's a part of who I am! I love the cheering and the positive vibes and reactions.
