Growing up with high functioning autism has shaped the way I see the world, and I have come to realize that my story can inspire others. I started public speaking because I wanted to help others see that challenges do not have to define us. In my speeches I share the realities of living with autism but also the strengths that come with it and the ability to see things from a different perspective. I have testified in support of legislation at the State House and was invited to give a presentation by the Arc of Massachusetts. This was back in March 2020, prior to the pandemic. I absolutely love speaking to large audiences. I have spoken to employees at Converse, the Marblehead Rotary Association, the Marblehead Ministerial Association, various medical schools and the International Autism Summit. I share my journey and hope to inspire others to accept themselves and be their best selves.
